Telecoms HelloPeter customer service ranking

The latest HelloPeter telecommunications league table reveals that Telkom has the best compliments to complaints ratio in the industry.

HelloPeter is South Africa’s largest consumer activist website, where consumers can report good and bad service and receive support from registered companies.

The website’s industry ranking feature lists companies according to their compliments/complaints ratio. This ranking gives an overview of the overall satisfaction of the company’s customers.

According to the latest telecommunications league table, Telkom has a compliments to complaints ratio of 6%, outperforming Vodacom (4%) and MTN (4%).

Telkom COO Brian Armstrong recently said that the company is focusing a lot of its energy on improving its customer experience as part of its turnaround strategy.

From the recent rankings it looks like Telkom is starting to have success in that arena.
