Crazy Cell C LTE data launch deal announced

Cell C explosive

Cell C has announced a massive data deal for the first customers who buy a new SIM at specific locations when it launches its LTE network on 1 October 2015.

Subscribers will be able to buy a 100GB data bundle for R100. The data may be used anytime and is valid for 90 days.

The deal will only be available to the first 1,000 customers in Gauteng who buy a SIM at Cell C’s head office in Buccleuch and the first 500 who buy a SIM at its regional offices on 1 October 2015.

While the official launch of Cell C’s LTE network is a few days away, a number of subscriber have reported they are already connecting to the network.

Cell C announced earlier in 2015 that it planned to invest R8 billion in its LTE network over the next 3 years, focusing on metropolitan areas.

It has signed supply agreements with Huawei and ZTE, which will drive the roll-out of the planned 4,000 LTE sites across South Africa.
