MTN has confirmed reports that the connectivity issues on its network have not been fully resolved.
This comes after the network said yesterday (15 February) that it has been experiencing intermittent issues that affected about a million subscribers.
Earlier today, MTN said that it had fixed the problem, was monitoring the situation, and would provide updates if anything changed.
“MTN’s engineers implemented a solution yesterday evening which alleviated some of the problems and restored services,” MTN said. “However, some of the subscribers are still experiencing connectivity challenges.”
“We are continuing our investigations with the support of all the parties in order to fully restore services. Our engineers are currently working on resolving the issue as soon as possible.”
MTN apologised to customers still affected by the outage.
