Nokia N8 available soon
MTN today released a press statement that it will start to offer the Nokia N8 in SA ‘soon’, and has opened pre-orders for the device.
The Nokia N8 runs the Symbian 3 OS, and boasts a 3.5” 640×360 AMOLED capacitive touch screen, an accelerometer, magnetometer, proximity sensor, ambient light detector, GPS receiver and an ARM 11 processor.
The Nokia N8 further sports a 12 MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon flash, and has a wide range of connectivity options including 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0.
The Nokia N8 also comes with free lifetime Ovi Maps with voice-guided walk and drive navigation, guiding people to places and points of interest in more than 78 countries worldwide, including South Africa, and maps for a total of 180 countries.

Exciting for Ovi Music fans is that the Nokia N8 will include a 6-month subscription to the Ovi Music Unlimited service, giving access to more than 7-million local and international tracks.
