Nokia N8 local pricing details
After vague hints and unpriced pre-orders Nokia have finally revealed the local pricing for the N8.
They also announced that in addition to the pre-orders available from MTN, customers can now pre-order the Symbian 3 device from OnlineStuff “due to substantial interest” in the device.
“OnlineStuff have opened up online orders for cash customers via NokiaStuff so that South Africans have the chance to secure one of the most revolutionary devices to be launched by Nokia in recent months,” says Gerard Brandjes, general manager, Nokia South Africa.
The first 1 000 customers that order online will receive a free, one hour consultation with a Nokia Butler who will deliver the phone and go through all the ins and outs of the device. Nokia also said that all online order customers will get a free silicone cover to go with their device.
The latest offering from Nokia’s smartphone stable has includes enhancements across the user interface such as single tap, touch and support for gestures such as ‘pinch-and-zoom’, three personalised homescreens and 2D and 3D graphics architecture.
The N8 comes standard with 16 GB of memory, a 12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon flash, HD-quality video recording, film editing software, Dolby surround sound and free life-time Ovi Maps walk and drive navigation for over 70-countries, Nokia Messaging and a 6-month subscription to Ovi Music Unlimited (previously known as Comes with Music) Services.
Online orders are now open via NokiaStuff for a cash price of R4 799.00 including delivery.
