Free d6 School Communicator data on MTN
MTN has zero-rated data for the d6 School Communicator system.
d6 Communicator is an integrated web-based communications system that lets schools communicate with parents on a variety of platforms.
It uses a web-based control panel that allows users to upload news, calendar events, alerts, photographs, homework, and links to resources.
MTN has put a 100MB cap in place to prevent abuse, stating that average usage is around 300KB or less.
“The decision to zero rate d6 Communicator is part of MTN’s strategy to provide affordable solutions that will help bridge the digital divide,” said Larry Annetts, chief consumer officer at MTN South Africa.
The d6 Communicator system averages 330,000 daily desktop users and 340,000 app users, said MTN.
