Vodacom App Store premium apps now available
Vodacom today (14 December 2011) announced the launch of premium apps in the Vodacom App Store. These premium apps range from R5 to R50..
The Vodacom App Store, launched in September this year with over 140,000 free applications (apps), now has over five thousand premium apps which have been added to the Vodacom App Store.
Prins Mhlanga, Managing Executive of Digital Media at Vodacom commented, “The customer uptake of free apps was fantastic with over 500,000 downloads in the first three months of launch. We believe the market is ready to experience premium apps and we are very pleased that we’re able to offer even more choice to our customers.”
The Vodacom App Store which is powered by Appia is supported by platforms such as Andriod, Symbian, Java, Blackberry, and Windows Mobile.
As with all downloads, standard data charges apply when customers download apps from the Vodacom App Store.
