iPhone 5 LTE support on MTN

iPhone 5 users on the MTN network have finally received LTE support for their devices. This follows a carrier update for iPhone 5 users.

LTE provides users with faster speeds and lower latency, which means a better overall experience for mobile broadband users.

Vodacom was the first South African network to support LTE on Apple’s latest iPhone when this feature was enabled with the release of iOS 6.1 in late January 2013.

The Apple website confirmed that Vodacom and MTN now support LTE on the iPhone 5.
