Alan Knott-Craig suffers stroke
Cell C CEO Alan Knott-Craig suffered a minor stroke on Monday, 18 November 2013, and is currently recovering in hospital, the mobile network operator said in a statement today.
According to Cell C, Knott-Craig is expected to make a full recovery.
“The Board and staff wish Alan a speedy recovery,” Cell C’s statement said.
Cell C’s chief commercial officer, Jose Dos Santos, will act as CEO until Alan returns to work, the company said.
“No further information can be provided at this stage and we kindly ask that his privacy be respected at this time,” Cell C said.
