Another significant announcement during the earnings call was that Apple had made $18 billion profit during the first quarter of 2015. iPhone revenue made up $51.2 billion (69%) of Apple’s total revenue for the quarter.
Apple Watch was officially announced on 9 September 2014, with Cook initially saying that it would be available from “early 2015” for $349.
It will work with the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, and iPhone 5s, Apple said at the announcement.
