Cheapest 3G tablet in SA launched
TabletWorld has launched the cheapest 3G-enabled tablet PC in South Africa, with prices starting at R2,299.00.
The Dynapad tablet PC is marketed as a “full-featured, premium 3G tablet”, sporting a 7” screen, 1GHz Qualcomm processor and a 5 megapixel camera.
The device runs the Android 2.2 OS, and comes pre-installed with the following apps: Angry Birds, Kindle reader, TuneinRadio, Facebook, Twitter, News24, DropBox, Soundhound, Jango and IMDB.
“With this product, we want to make premium tablets accessible to a whole new segment of the market that could not afford them before,” says TabletWorld founder, Laurence Seberini.
For comparison, the entry-level 3G iPad 2 retails for R5,699.00.
