Samsung UHD TVs for 2014
Samsung has officially announced its 2014 line-up of ultra high definition (UHD) televisions, including a curved 105-inch TV and a 110-inch UHD TV.
In a press release issued during its media event at CES 2014, Samsung announced the following range of UHD TVs:
Samsung 105-inch Curved UHD TV
Fighting with LG over world firsts, Samsung has claimed that this is the world’s first and largest curved UHD TV. LG has made the same claim of its 105-inch curved UHD TV.
Samsung U9000 SeriesCurved UHD TVs
Samsung Curved UHD (U9000)
This second generation of Samsung curved screens can be wall mounted with the specially designed kit, compatible with VESA Standards. The U9000 Series will be available in 78”, 65” and 55” screen sizes.
Samsung S9 Series UHD TVs

Unveiled at CES 2013, Samsung has announced that its 110-inch frame-mounted TV would go on sale during 2014. The 85-inch version of Samsung S9 TV was available in South Africa at R385,000.
Samsung U8550 Series UHD TVs
Samsung Flat UHD (U8550)
The Samsung U8550 UHD TV measures 30.5mm thick, with a 7mm bezel. It will be available in five screen sizes: 75“, 65”, 60“, 55” and 50″.
