Tablet and data deals compared
All the mobile operators are offering consumers bundled data and tablet PC deals on 24-month contracts.
Consumers are spoiled for choice when it comes to the number of deals available, with a wide range of devices on offer with different data packages.
To find the best deal can be challenging. Vodacom, MTN, Cell C and Telkom Mobile are all offering popular tablet PCs, but their prices differ on many of these devices.
To see which providers typically offer the best value for money, MyBroadband selected popular tablets, and compared the monthly cost for this device with a data package.
The comparison revealed a basic trend that Telkom Mobile is the cheapest, while Cell C is the most expensive.
The table below shows the monthly cost from the mobile operators on two popular devices – the iPad mini 16GB and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0.
