Valve has unveiled its Steam Controller, which it hopes will get PC gamers playing their favourite titles from the comfort of the couch.
The controller features dual trackpads for your thumbs, haptic feedback, dual-stage triggers, back-grip buttons (so you don’t have to take your thumbs off the device while playing), and customisable control schemes for different games.
Valve said the controller provides the “high-fidelity input required for precise PC gaming in the living room”, and that even Dota 2 can be played using the device.
Limited quantities of the controller will be shipped from 16 October, in advance of the official launch on 10 November.
