New, improved Intel Compute Sticks

Intel has unveiled its latest Compute Sticks – which feature better hardware than their predecessors, but also come with a higher price tag.
The new Compute Sticks have Core M3 and M5 chips – Intel’s sixth generation Skylake chip architecture.
The latest Compute Sticks sport 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and USB 3.0.
The Sticks also offers a matte plastic casing, and will ship with Windows 10.
The Compute Stick with an Intel Core M3 processor will be priced at $399 (R6,300). The Core M5 model will be priced at $499 (R7,900).
More affordable Compute Stick model
Intel also unveiled a more affordable Compute Stick, which features a Cherry Trail Intel Atom processor.
It sports 802.11ac Wi-Fi, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and ships with Windows 10.
The Intel Compute Stick with an Atom x5-z8400 processor is available for $159 (R2,500).
