Fujitsu delivers latest high-end notebook – Lifebook P771
Fujitsu have announced the first shipments of the new Lifebook P771, a fully specified high-end business notebook. Weighing 1.3 kg, with long battery runtime and flexible modular bay concept, the Lifebook P771 is “designed to meet the demands mobile power users.”
Power saving
The Lifebook P771 achieves battery runtimes of up to 18 hours thanks to combining Intel chipset technology and ULV (ultra low-voltage) processors. Optional extras geared at power saving include:
• SSD hard drives
• A second battery fitted in the modular bay
• 0-Watt AC adapter which guarantees no electrical consumption when switched off
Versatility
The Lifebook P771 is versatile, featureing a modular bay that can accommodate a removable DVD drive, a second battery, or simply nothing to be a weight saver.
Security
The Lifebook P771 also features advanced security:
• Advanced Theft Protection (ATP)
• An optional fingerprint sensor
• Trusted Platform Module (TPM)
Durability
Fujitsu has equipped the Lifebook P771 with a lid made from sturdy but lightweight magnesium for durability. The Lifebook range also features a shock sensor that automatically disengaged the mechanical heads of hard drives. Lastly, the Lifebook P771 features a spill-resistant keyboard.
Connectivity
The Lifebook P771 comes with an array of connectivity options, including; embedded 3G/UMTS, WLAN and Bluetooth. The Lifebook P771 can dock in a port replicator, saving time and allowing easy access to a full-size keyboard and display.
