Samsung Milk shutdown date announced

Samsung has announced that its Milk streaming service will shut down in the US from 22 September 2016.

Instead of running its own music streaming app, Samsung will focus on partnerships – like Samsung South Africa has done.

Samsung’s Galaxy S7 devices in South Africa come with 6 months free Google Music access for new subscribers.

“We have made the strategic decision to invest in a partner model focussed on integrating the best music services available into our family of Galaxy devices,” said Samsung.
