This drone can help protect your business

Secom drone

A new security drone by Secom will capture photos of cars and people who enter a property without authorisation.

The Secom drone has a benefit over standard security cameras, because it can chase cars and criminals to capture their photo.

The drone automatically launches when it detects an intruder, and follows the person around while sending video footage to a central system with human supervision.

The drone is currently on offer to businesses in Japan.

The drone is priced at around R102,000 (¥800,000), while the security service is offered at R625 (¥5,000) per month.
