Pinterest rolls out two-factor authentication

Pinterest logo

Pinterest announced it is rolling out two-factor authentication for all accounts.

Two-factor authentication allows users to add an additional layer of security to their account, meaning an attacker will be unable to log in to a victim’s account with only their password.

Users who activate the feature will be sent a verification text to their mobile number when they log in from a new device, or they can choose to use the Authy mobile app.

Pinterest said two-factor authentication will be available within the next few weeks.
