Samsung is letting users disable the dedicated Bixby key on certain devices, according to a report by Engadget.

The report stated that while the key can be disabled, it does appear that it can be remapped – adding that Samsung previously had no plans to allow this.

Samsung reportedly allowed the disabling of the Bixby key due to customer complaints.

The report stated that the Bixby assistant was not always required by users, who had alternative artificial intelligent assistants on their devices.
