iPhone 5s launch date, iPhone 4s prices slashed
MTN announced in a press statement on Monday, 4 November 2013, that it will launch the iPhone 5s and 5c on 15 November 2013.
This follows a similar announcement by Vodacom on Saturday (2 November), confirming speculation that Apple’s latest smartphone would launch in South Africa on the same day as the Philippines.
In addition to confirming the launch date of the iPhone 5s through its channel, MTN is also listing significantly reduced prices for the iPhone 4 and 4s on its website.
Without contract, with a free MTN starter pack, the prices for the devices are as follows:
- 32GB iPhone 4 (White): R1,499
- 16GB iPhone 4s (Black): R1,999
- 64GB iPhone 4s (Black): R2,999
