New Google Chrome browser released

Google has released Chrome 46 – the latest stable version of the browser for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

The new version of Chrome (46.0.2490.71) contains a number of bug fixes and improvements, including simplified security options.

“Starting with version 46, Chrome will mark the “HTTPS with Minor Errors” state using the same neutral page icon as HTTP pages,” the company announced.

Google also said it is removing the desktop notification center from its Chrome browser. However, it is still present in Chrome 46.
