WhatsApp desktop app launched for Windows and Mac
WhatsApp has launched a desktop application for Windows and Mac computers.
“Like WhatsApp Web, our desktop app is simply an extension of your phone,” said WhatsApp.
“The app mirrors conversations and messages from your mobile device.”
The desktop app is available for Windows 8 and newer, and OS X 10.9 and newer.
Because the app runs natively on your desktop, WhatsApp said you will have support for native desktop notifications and better keyboard shortcuts.
WhatsApp for Mac or Windows PCs may be downloaded from the app’s website.
