the site says the app must be on your Phone though

if this is like the iPad apps available it doesnt help if your battery is dead

May as well just use the Whatsapp web client IMO..

Works on my win 7 Work PC,

I suppose its one up on havig to setup a new session in Chrome all the time, but I am not greatly impressed

Telegram has had a desktop app for ages, not to mention they support Linux as well.

It does seem like it on face value. Must dl on my Win 10 machine to test properly

Use the web messenger version instead. No download, and works well.

It's just a wrapper so you cant be signed in to web and the desktop app and the web is better

looks like we can attach documents in the app which i couldn't do on the browser

OK, I installed it in Windows 7 and it seems to be working.

Seems to work just fine while my phone is locked.

sorry - my bad, just tested it and it only takes images and video - so no better than the browser
