Google Translate updated for Android smartphones

Android

Google has updated Translate for Android, which now features Tap to Translate.

This allows Android device users – running Android 4.2 and up – to translate text by copying it, according to Engadget.

iPhone users will also receive additional features, including offline support for when you don’t have access to a data connection.

The camera-based Word Lens translation on Android and iOS now also supports simplified and traditional Chinese.
