Big changes to free version of Evernote
Evernote is making changes to its product offering to encourage more users to pay for the service.
It has also increased the fees of its Plus and Premium plans.
The Basic Evernote package is now limited to synchronising with two devices.
In South Africa, an Evernote Plus subscription is available for R24.99 per month or R199.99 per year, while a Premium subscription costs R49.99 per month or R399.99 per year.
Existing Basic users have been given a period within which to switch to an annual Premium subscription at a 50% discount.
It said its goal is to continue improving Evernote. “That requires a significant investment of energy, time, and money,” it said.
