N is for Nougat
Google has stated that Android 7.0 will be called Android Nougat.
The company ran a campaign which asked users to help name the latest version of Android, with the name having to begin with the letter N.
The mobile OS will improve the graphics and runtime of previous versions of Android, and introduce the Vulkan graphics API. This should deliver better graphics with more efficiency.
