VentureBeat has published its latest Internet browser “benchmark battle”, testing how the big browsers perform in a series of tests.
“Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge have all gained a variety of new features and improvements over the past year. It’s time to see if any of them have managed to pull ahead of the pack,” said VentureBeat.
The publication tested the browsers using eight benchmarks, all on a Windows 10 platform.
The set-up used consisted of a “custom desktop PC” for each benchmark. It used an Intel Core i5 (4th-gen) processor, 8GB RAM, 500GB HDD, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 GPU.
