Firefox 50 now available

Mozilla has released Firefox 50 for Desktop and Android, which includes many improvements like faster start-up speeds.

The latest version of Firefox offers updates to keyboard shortcuts, including viewing a page in Reader Mode by using Ctrl+Alt+R (command+alt+r on Mac).

The browser also has an improved “Find in page” feature that allows users to limit search to whole words only.

Firefox 50 now supports playback video on more sites without plugins, with WebM EME Support for Widevine on Windows and Mac.

It also added a built-in Emoji set for operating systems without native Emoji fonts, like Windows 8.0 and lower, and Linux.
