Opera Mobile 11 and Mini 6 launched

Opera Software made the latest versions of their Mini and Mobile browsers available for mobile phones and tablet PCs today.

According to the Norwegian browser developer, the new versions include smoother scrolling, panning and zooming, including “true pinch-to-zoom” on devices that support pinch.

Opera also announced that Mini 6 and Mobile 11 include a share button to easily share a web page on Twitter, Facebook, vKontakte, My Opera, or through other methods.

The biggest change is the interface optimised for use on Android tablets. Opera showcased the new tablet interface on Motorola’s Xoom Android tablet.

Opera Mini 6 is available on mobile phones that support J2ME, as well as the Android, BlackBerrry and Symbian/S60 platforms.

Opera Mobile 11 is available for Android, Symbian, Windows Phone 7 and MeeGo.
