Windows 10 vs Mac user numbers
There are nearly 100 million Mac users in the world, Apple told TechCrunch.
This means that Windows 10 is nearly four-times larger than Mac, based on Microsoft’s latest official numbers.
Microsoft said there are over 400 million devices running Windows 10 in the world.
It should be noted that Microsoft’s number includes smartphones and tablets.
It is also worth noting that Windows 7 – a PC-only operating system – still commands a greater market share than Windows 10 and Mac, according to StatCounter and NetMarketShare.
According to NetMarketShare, Windows accounts for nearly 92% of all PCs, while MacOS powers over 6%.
