Google releasing Chrome 60

Google has detailed the promotion of Chrome 60 to the stable channel for Windows, Mac, and Linux, which will roll out over the coming weeks.

On desktop, Chrome 60 adds support for the Payment Request API and updated Credential Management API.

The Chrome 60 update includes 40 security fixes and improvements, which include Touch Bar support for macOS.

9to5 Google reported that Google has also “slightly tweaked with the Omnibox for searching and entering URLs featuring a Google logo, while there is also a new add bookmark and new tab button”.

The information shared with users about the Incognito mode is also now more concise, detailing what the mode can and cannot do.
