The CentOS developers have released CentOS 7.4, which brings updates and security patches.

CentOS 7.4 also comes with new packages, including Qt5, Pidgin, python-netifaces, python-gssapi, and mod_auth_openidc, ALPN, and DTLS (TLS via UDP) support for OpenSSL.

“There have been various changes/enhancements to cryptographic abilities of various packages. i.e. sendmail now supports ECDHE, OpenSSH now using SHA2 for public key signatures,” states the release notes.
