Firefox for iOS has automatic ad and content blocking
Mozilla has released its latest version of Firefox for iOS, which has automatic ad and content blocking in Private Browsing mode, as well as a tracking protection option in regular browsing.
The feature uses the ad blocking technology in Firefox Focus for Android and iOS.
“We’re finally able to deliver it to Firefox for iOS thanks to changes by Apple to enable the option for third-party browsers,” said Mozilla.
Firefox for iOS also brings improved syncing to users, with content syncing to their desktop.
The company announced that it has also improved Focus for Android, with multiple tabs in private browsing.
“We’ve made the private browsing experience even better with the addition of multitasking support.”
Users now have the ability to open multiple pages at a time and switch between them.
