BBM for iPhone update to fix iOS 7.0.3 bug

BBM for iPhone

BlackBerry announced on 24 October that it has issued an update for its BBM for iPhone app which fixed iOS 7.0.3 problems, and adds new features to the messaging platform.

iPhone users who updated their operating system to iOS 7.0.3 complained that their BBM for iPhone app crashed when sharing images.

One user explained that after he updated to iOS 7.0.3, BBM crashed when anyone sent him a picture or when he sent a picture to his friends using BBM.

“The problem is that it doesn’t just crash once. It crashes every time I click on the person after the pic is sent. The only fix seems to be to delete the chat altogether,” he explained.

Other users confirmed this problem, highlighting that image sharing is not supported on BBM for iPhone after the iOS 7.0.3 upgrade.

The BBM for iPhone update, which fixed the iOS 7.0.3 issues, was welcomed by users who congratulated BlackBerry on its fast turnaround time.
