Judgment expected in Moneyweb vs Media24 case
Judgment is expected in the copyright matter between financial news website Moneyweb and Media24 on Thursday.
The matter will be heard in the Johannesburg High Court.
Moneyweb took Media24 to court over seven of its news reports that were aggregated by Media24’s business news website Fin24.
Moneyweb is claiming damages from Fin24.
The court will determine the amount should it find in Moneyweb’s favour.
