iPhone 4G LTE device undergoes testing
Apple’s carrier partners are testing iPhone models with 4G LTE capabilities, that’s the word from tech news website Boy Genius Report.
The site claims to have evidence of an internal iOS test build from one of Apple’s carrier partners, where one of the property list files for LTE support is present. This file would allow a built-in 4G LTE modem to function on networks that provide LTE services.
While this evidence doesn’t guarantee that LTE support will make it into the next generation iPhone, it does show that Apple is considering using LTE technology in the future.
