HP discontinues all WebOS devices
HP has announced that they will be discontinuing the TouchPad along with all WebOS based mobile phones.
The news comes as a surprised as the company was close to releasing a 64GB white version of the TouchPad.
But this latest announcement gives credibility to the reports that retailer Best Buy have asked for a refund on all HP TouchPads it has in stock.
The official word from HP is, “HP reported that it plans to announce that it will discontinue operations for webOS devices, specifically the TouchPad and webOS phones. HP will continue to explore options to optimize the value of webOS software going forward.”
