HP discontinues all WebOS phones and tablets

I have only heard great things about webOS, too bad I won't get a chance to use it.
It would have had a better chance of surviving if it was bought by cellphone manufacturer like Samsung or HTC.
 
Sad and thats coming from a heavy iOS user.

I want a tablet/phone market where a good number of players are slugging it out. I don't want Apple or Android to crush the competition because that very competition makes iOS and Android better.

From all I have seen of WebOS it seemed to be very good. Likewise I have played quite a bit with RIM's Playbook and it seems to be great.
Personally I think the trouble in HP made them give up too soon. Watch them sell off their PC arm as well.

Pity, was looking forward to seeing what HP can do with their Tab.
