iPhone 4S vs. iPhone 5 – what’s the difference?

Jimmy Kimmel has put American citizen’s to the test by showing them an iPhone 4S and claiming it’s an iPhone 5.

The victims of the prank didn’t seem to notice, however, as each person continues to analyse the phone and state how its far superior to that of the iPhone 4S (which is exactly what it is).

Apple’s iPhone 5 was criticised by a number of anaylsts after its announcement, claiming that the phone has had minimal design changes, and lacks a “wow factor”.

The omission of a NFC (near-field communication) chip is also a much talked-about issue surrounding the new device.

Pre-orders for the iPhone 5 will open for the first phase of the launch on 14 September, with the device shipping on 21 September 2012.
