Samsung’s shot at Apple
Samsung has released a new ad for the Galaxy S III, which highlights the animosity between the South Korean company and Apple over the on-going patent trials.
The new advert compares the features of the Galaxy S III to that of the iPhone 5, with the latter “coming out on top” with the most specs.
The ads also features the header: “it doesn’t take a genius”, and Samsung’s “the next best thing is already here” tagline.
The ad is technically an abbreviated version of a larger slogan, which Samsung tweeted on their US Mobile account; “It doesn’t take a genius to choose The Next Big Thing.”
On Friday (14 September 2012) Apple won a preliminary ruling regarding allegations it infringed on Samsung patents.
