Snapgrip gives camera controls to iPhones

Snapgrip for iPhone

Snapgrip, a UK-based Kickstarter initiative, is aiming to bring point-and-shoot camera control to iPhones.

The Snapgrip is essentially a Bluetooth controller that attaches to the back of an iPhone, adding a shooting button and function wheel.

There is a zoom slider, which replaces the pinch and stretching touch functions usually used when taking a photo.

The attachment also acts as a protective case for the iPhone.

A prototype of the project was on show at CES 2013, with visitors getting the chance to try the device.

The Kickstarter goal is £18,000, with the project having already accumulated over £15,000.
