How Telkom is changing

Telkom CEO Sipho Maseko said the operator’s turnaround strategy is complete, which includes a new way of doing things at the company.

“Our strong performance demonstrates the sound execution capability we have developed over this turnaround journey and lays a solid foundation for future growth,” said Maseko.

Maseko said Telkom is embarking on the next phase of the plan, which is focussed on growth and implementing the company’s new operating model.

“Customer service will continue to be part of our strategy, as will implementing the right processes and systems to enable and empower our employees to contribute towards improved customer-centricity,” said Maseko.

He highlighted four “old” Telkom behaviours which will change to create an improved Telkom.
