Telkom Networks joins Openserve
Telkom’s Networks division joined Openserve on 7 June 2016, with more than 8,600 Telkom network employees moving to the wholesale provider.
Openserve was launched in October 2015 as the redesigned wholesale division of the Telkom group – a step towards separating Telkom’s wholesale and retail businesses.
Alphonzo Samuels, CEO of Openserve, said their vision is to be an open connectivity provider people can count on.
“We are addressing a national imperative – to address the digital divide and to democratise broadband access,” said Samuels.
