HelloPeter, the largest online customer service website in South Africa, allows consumers to post complaints and compliments about companies.
The website’s industry ranking feature lists companies according to a compliments/complaints ratio. This ranking gives an overview of the overall satisfaction of the company’s customers.
According to HelloPeter, 8ta has the highest compliments to complaints ratio at 8%, followed by its parent company Telkom at 6%. Neotel ranked third at 6%.
Curiously the all the large telecoms providers ranked lower than the industry standard of 11%, as shown in the graph below.
