Many South Africans are using wireless Internet services providers (WISPs) to serve their broadband needs.

According to the Wireless Access Providers’ Association, around 300,000 users rely on WISPs for their broadband and voice requirements.

There are numerous WISPs which provide services in urban and rural locations, often serving areas where no other affordable connectivity is available.

Many of these wireless providers offer uncapped products. Below is a comparison of some of the prominent offerings in the market.

It should be noted that the service levels, including the monthly fair use limits, of these accounts may differ.
