Some would blame Greenspan himself for the perilous situation the US economy finds itself in.
 
Like it matters what he thinks, BEE would never go! To many ANC MP's and their families benefiting from it.
 
Its only 25% discount, whats with the hype...

You cannot know whether "political reasons" equates to BEE in Greenspan's mind.

Don't get me wrong, I'm against the current implementation of BEE as much as the next guy...I just feel that interpreting Greenspan's (characteristically vague) words and then attributing the interpretation to him is not cool.

of course i also hope that those who endorse greenspan's view on this matter also then acknowledge he endorsed Mboweni's actions re inflation and hiking rates.
