Help- need to recover info from hard drive

I am unsure as to how they are, but its probably easiest to remove the drive and try the usual recovery tools. If you are not keen, take it data recovery specialists. You are gonna pay through ur nose, but they will get it.

I have used data detect a few times, u can courier to them. They usually turn around in 48 hours.
