Let Cape secessionists speak freely!

Should the Western Cape be able to discuss the option of independence from SA?

Come on admins, let talk about Cape independence here without being banned or threads being locked. It will be civil and all points of discussion noted. :)

What is the point of Cape-Independence?.

Do you have a concrete reason for wanting Cape Independence other than feeling hard done by that your "opinion" counts for as much as everyone elses in this country?

Your idea has been shot down for the laughable joke that it is often enough, and you want more of it?

No.
Go away.
FFS, even CAPETONIANS aren't interested; don't you get it?

But just for the record, how many morons, sorry, members, does your party have?

We will never free you. We need your tax money.

Free Western Cape? That's it - I am going to tell Malema. This is South Africa 2009 ! Our Commarades must be ready for any eventuality. Bring me my mashine gun :D

With idiotic comments like these, I dread to think what would actually happen should it become a reality. For the record, I support the idea of an independent Cape. It is most certainly worth talking about. And no, I am not punting a white "homeland". The Cape could easily be the real "rainbow nation".

Well said. I think more and more people are waking up to this all the time down here. Im not sure if they support total Independence, but maybe wish for the WC to be a state within a state, like an autonomous region, totally seperate politically...

I think more and more people are waking up to what a terrible idea this is....

Its why its died a very quick and silent death if you ask me.

It's alright to have a discussion, but Cape -Independence never answers any questions put forward to him.

He's completely oblivious to the fact that 99% of the population is against the idea.

Strange poll. Yes they should be able to discuss it but really there is little to discuss. There is no good reason to even consider it.
