Anyone know some nice mods for these babies?

Done the Downpipe and De-Cat but left the silencer and back box.

The bloody thing is still under warranty though so cant tinker too much but ive had her for a year and a half and its time to do something haha!

Iwas thinking that. Also heard someting about Bluefin or something like that. Hmmm

can someone tell me where i can get my car done i also have a gtc turbo..
and does someone maybe know the "damage' of these mods...

just a quick one as well..

the guys that have these cars.... have you guys ever raced a S2000..... or the Corsa OPC... just wondering.. i'm trying to get one on the road but it's always the wrong times so to speak...

Nothing too serious.
I droove the Astra 4 door today and it seems quicker * same as the Corsa OPC * reason for this is the smaller tyres...
They are 17's as opposed to our 18's just remember that.
I was going to buy a Corsa OPC last month but after driving it I took it back as its jsut not the same build quality as the Astra.
It pulls me in the start but once the GTC gets going 3rd - 4th gear you take him.

De-Catting the car is not a problem, in fact, it runs cooler and is lighter on fuel!

hello...

does any one know what the correct KW's power should on the Astra Gtc Turbo.. stock stock stock standard..? just something i would like to know..
if possible Dyno Kw's reading.. please...

+1 Unichip (piggyback version) unplug it when u send the car for services.... (made by Dastek)

Think carefully before getting the Unichip...

Been there - done that... I had the Astra TS (1995 2.0 Turbo packing 160KW) - Dastek could not get it configured correctly so in the end took it out and went back to original ECU... I got almost 15KW more power (wheels) by simply fitting a bigger intercooler (the std one was mounted on the side - almost the size of the oil cooler), a stronger fuel pump and upping the boost by a tad (good 'ol astras you could up the boost with a nr10 spanner ;-)

Try the Opel Owners forum - someone there might have some suggestions - but remember that to get seriously more power you'll have to Mod big: Bigger intercooler, bigger injectors, stronger fuel pump - and that's without touching the internals... And since you've got the warranty and tend to want to keep it - options are limited...
